1967 911 Factory Rally Car

Delivered through Brumos Jacksonville with Rally equipment, Fuchs wheels, airport gears, tinted glass and halogen lights. A very solid nearly rust free and complete car needing restoration. All original metal including the floors and front suspension pan and all of the body sheet metal except for the rear lid. Runs and drives. With a little work this can be a fun driver or give it the full restoration it deserves. Blank replacement case. Raced by the original owner. A very hard to find competition 911 and a great investment.

In 1967 Porsche created the Sports Purpose program to produce and support competition versions of the 911. In 1968 the specially designated 911/30 engines were consecutively numbered totaling 30 cars worldwide. In 1967 the engines were not consecutively numbered or assigned a special designation (as the 1968 cars were) therefore a hard production amount is not exactly known however the gearboxes were numbered. This car carried #6. A second car I own with a later build date of April carries #4. By these numbers I estimate only ten or so of these Rally cars were built with six accounted for so far making this an especially rare competition 911.
